The 2021 conference theme was “Hindsight 2021 – Together Towards Tomorrow”. Our lineup for this years’ conference includes Joe Roberts aka The Skidrow CEO, and Dr. Christina Prosser. Our presenters will address topics that range from helping others redefine what’s truly possible by confronting limiting mindsets, current research in correctional education and its applicability within our modern practices.
Our annual conference attracts professionals that span the realm of correctional education. From healthcare professionals, educators, policy makers, correctional officers, caseworkers, youth care workers, and more, stakeholders from across the spectrum can gather for professional learning and collaboration.
The ACEA conference is not just a great way to advance our knowledge within such a niche field; it is also a venue to network within our community of professionals.
2021 Conference Speakers
JOE ROBERTS | SKID ROW CEO

Having experienced both catastrophic failure and extraordinary success Joe teaches how to overcome the roadblocks that get in the way of high performance. He helps companies and individuals redefine what’s truly possible by confronting limiting mindsets. Participants at Joes’ events leave inspired and moved to action.
What is most amazing about Joe is that in 1989 he was living on the streets of Vancouver as a homeless skid row addict. Through perseverance, determination and his resilient human spirit, Joe pulled himself out of darkness and despair, to become a highly respected business and community leader.
